After 1970, the first time in Line Of Actual Control(LAC) between India and China casualties happened on both sides. This event happens near Ladakh’s Galwan Valley. Due to the clash between soldiers, both sides faced the huge number of casualties, nearly 20 soldiers from India and at least 43 soldiers of china army were killed. (Number can increase from both sides).

But the tweet from Hu Xijin (editor-in-chief of Chinese and English edition of Global Times for international affairs) shows casualties of the Chinese army are far more than the Indian Army.

Army sources say the soldiers were not shot but were killed in hand-to-hand combat on the Indian Territory that involved stones and batons. The Foreign Ministry said the clashes happened “as a result of an attempt by the Chinese side to unilaterally changes the status quo there”. Major Generals of both sides met to de-escalate tension after the clashes, according to an official statement. This is the first time violent incidents involving fatalities since 1975 between India and China, who fought a border war in 1962.
